Architectural investments was contracted by YUM! corporation to renovate 20 restaurants for Kentucky Fried Chicken throughout eight states (FL, GA, KY, IN, OH, PA, TX, VA) to comply with the corporation’s new brand focus. The scope of work included architectural design services as well as development of a standard design template to be used by general contractors, sub contractors, corporate project managers, designers & franchise owners. It would establish an order to the design process that would yield a consistent brand appearance for the company throughout the nation while allowing each store to renovate according to their needs and financial commitment. Renovation work included: interior and exterior development, new signage, site - work design and ADA upgrades.
The average cost per restaurant was between $100,000 to $150,000. The projects were completed between 2007 and 2009.
